Some advantages of using word is that its on a lot of computers around school and at home you also have access to it at home if you save it to word online witch is accessed by one drive witch all school pupils have access to at home and around school. Its also an easy package as you can resize and copy and paste images on to it and add different shapes onto your mood board for example I have added a love heart and all the pictures that represent me are In the middle, It is also easy to resize and turn images to make the moadboard look more effective.
Some disadvantages of word are that you can't layer up your images like Photoshop witch makes it look a little bit less effective and not professional also they is no option to got rid of the white background on pictures so you will have to try and find A png and this may take some time. Sometimes word can make it look a bit untidy with the way it makes images blocky and makes images look like they are just lined up next to each other but with Photoshop you can use different layers and tools so you don't get the blocky effect.
